You may wish to try again if you have been having problems. I'm calling this skin version 7. Yep - I failed 6 times, before I decided on this costume. Re-skinning V.V.

Has been tricky. The actual work itself hasn't been any harder than any of the other models. No, the problem with re-skinning a character who looks like this girl does has more to do wtih something else entirely: I didn't want to ruin her. She was already a super-sexy stripper.

So this time, I decided 'If it ain't broke, then don't fix it.' I wanted V.V to show a bit more skin, but I still wanted her to look credible in her role. So, for you folks who were hoping that I'd just strip her down to no clothes at all (which I could have done), well. Then I'm sorry to disappoint you.

I truly feel that she looks sexier and more alluring this way. She's teasing us with just enough details to make your mouth water, but not enough to hit you over the head. I mean, hey - this is why lingerie was invented..

As always, constructive comments and/or suggestions are welcomed. You can obtain this mod from our Downloads page:. Changes made to Velvet Velour - version 7:. (1) Texture resolution doubled and sharpened. (2) Skintones slightly color-shifted, to give V.V.

A 'warmer' look. (3) Several areas were blended and others were highlighted.

(3) Entire costume was largely replaced with see-through fishnet mesh fabric. (4) Nipples added and blended in.

Taken from actual photographs ('Tesserized'). (5) Hair, face, makeup, eyes and lips were all enhanced. (6) Choker around her neck was darkened and given its own unique texture. (7) Added a tiny bit of gloss to her black fingernail polish. In Reply To #2 WotanAnubis posted: I don't know about this new outfit. VV's original outfit had elaborate patterns that added a vague sense of class and texture that one might expect from a Toreador.

However, these frills were replaced by simple fishnets. Yeah, you get to see more skin through them, but it loses the seductive tantalisation that VV is all about. That's how I see it anyway.

The Vampire Masquerade

Rather well done from a technical viewpoint, but, in my mind, just not VV. It's odd the way that different people view things.

Originally, I had retained most of V.V.' S original costume in this mod, but several members of my own board said that they would like to see how she looked in fishnet mesh. So, I changed it as per their request, and they raved about it. That's why I decided to leave it that way.

I have been thinking about reworking V.V. From the ground up.

Vampire Masquerade Hi Res Mod

I frankly don't care for.either. costume. Not her original one, nor this version. I'd like to see something totally different on her.
